Empowering Abilities
Everyone Deserves a Chance to Thrive

Tucked away in a lane in South Delhi, the Nirmal Jyothi Charitable Society has been a unique institution catering to the needs of the differently abled and the marginalized in our society for more than two decades.
Established in 1994 by theSt. Joseph’s Congregation (SJC) founded by Rev. Fr. Thomas Poothathil, this organization is one of many such institutions under the umbrella of the SJC (see https://kottayamad.org/sjc-congregation/ ).
With a heart-touching motto of “Whatever you did for one of the least important of these brothers of mine you did it for me” (Mt.25:40)’’, the Sisters managing the daily affairs of Nirmal Jyothi cater to the needs of each one of those seeking shelter in the comforting shade of this institution.
